Shop Hop Stop #24: Stamping Details

Pretty Japanese Themed Stamps! :)

My last Shop Hop Stop in San Diego was Stamping Details. It was also really closed to my friend's house. The themed destination was Kyoto, Japan.

When we first walked into the store, it was pretty crowded. The store had a lot of stamps for me to choose from. They also had some paper cardstocks as well as embellishments. Mainly, the store has a lot of stamps and stamping accessories.

This store was nicely decorated with a Japanese theme. They had a small table section of Japanese themed stamps. They were all so cute, I wanted to buy them all. However, I needed to watch my budget and not overly spend.

What I loved the most was the Make N' Take. Their Make N' Take was so cute! I had never done stampings the way they do. The lady was so sweet and nice at the Make N' Take table, she patiently helped me put my Make N' Take together. Because this page required for stampings, it had to be done in the store. She helped me with the flocking of the brown branches. While she was showing me, she was also teaching me how it was done. Step by step, I got the page done in front of her. I was quite happy with the page. Not only did I bring home a finished product of the Make N' Take, I also brought home new skills and techniques that I could use in the future.

Of course, I also picked up a bottle cap as well. I love the sakura flower. It's so pretty and cute! If I have a chance, I would love to go to Japan to see and attend the Cherry Blossom Festival.

After we shopped, we headed back to my friend's house to hang out and play with little Evan. It had just been so long since I last seen her. It was nice to see her doing well with a second baby on the way. :) Who knows, she might just be my babies babysitter in the future...

After we hung out, Tommy decided that we should not stay in San Diego, but consider driving back home. We stopped by Roberto's (AGAIN) to have a California Burrito. We shared one, but he loved the one that was made by Mission Bay, he went back inside the restaurant and ordered another one, with sour cream, guacamole in it! He's so picky. Together, we ended up eating 3 burritos that day. No way we are doing that again!

Shop Hop Stop #23: Cool Scrapbook Stuff

More embellishments! :)

It turned out Cool Scrapbook Stuff was close by to my friend's house. Tommy and I picked her up and she was our navigator. :) It's nice to have a friend to hang out for couple of hours. It's just been so long since we hung out, and went shopping together.

The themed destination at Cool Scrapbook Stuff was India. There was a small section that they put together to go with their India theme. I took my time to shop with my friend. She had been wanting to work on her scrapbook, but didn't seem to find the time for it.

I picked up a few cute journal tags, blade replacement for my silhouette digital cutter, another bottle of Glimmer Mist, and glue stamp pad. I also got some ribbons and embellishments I got a free Make N' Take as well as the bottle cap to add onto the charm necklace.

Follow me to see where I headed to next with my friend. :)
