Welcome to my first blog at Scrap-N-Treasure. I hope that you will all enjoy reading my blog! Since this is my first blog, I am going to write a little introduction of myself so you can know me better.
I am Kelly and I started scrapbooking back when I was in college. It was just an idea that my boyfriend brought up to me. I think he wanted to keep me busy so I didn't have to bother him! Like most beginners, I was confused on what to do and what not to do. I didn't know anyone that scrapbook. I gave up just after a few months. The album is still here in my room, collecting dust today. When I have some time, I will open it up and share my not-so-impressive scrap pages to you.
A few years ago, I began scrapping again. This time, it was at a whole new level! I guess it was because I had more time on my hand since I finished my Bachelor's degree. The very first page that I did was "A Day at Huntington Library." I fell in love with the page, and fell in love of scrapbooking! (I don't have a picture of that page right now, but I will post it up later! I promise!)
Currently, I am working on my very first Tahiti Album. I had been working on that album for 6 months and counting. It's my first big project and I have absolutely no idea what I am doing, but I am loving every minute of it. :) I tried to be creative, but sometimes, I have a "scrapper" block and my mind goes blank for few days!
I believe I am a amateur scrapper. There's so many skills and techniques to learn! I am constantly trying to do something different in my layouts. As you read through my blogs, you will read about my experiences for each layout I blog about and some of the amateur mistakes I made in there so others won't have to make the same mistakes. I may even write about the products I purchased that I will be learning how to use!
I hope the beginners will be inspired by some of my pages and learn from my mistakes. I also hope that the advanced scrappers can give me some great advices and inspirations! :)
Until next time...
<3,
Kelly
